Do park home surveys expire after three months?

We are in the process of selling our park home and our park owner is forcing us to commission a full survey at a cost of £300, get a certificate for our calour gas boiler and fire, and get all the electrics checked before we can do so.
The survey was carried out earlier this year and we found a buyer. That sale fell through. However, we now have another buyer lined up but the park is claiming that the survey is only valid for three months. Is this correct?
I suspect you have been subjected to one of the most common park owner scams. Unless your agreement or the park rules stipulate that you must have a survey before selling your home, you are under no contractual obligation to have one. I would go further and suggest your park owner is really having a joke with you if he expects you to have another survey within three months of the first one.
If you have not made any contractual agreement to surveys and the like, you must simply refuse to follow the park owner’s wishes. However, be aware that doing this may cause the park owner to refuse to allow the sale to go through and you may need help from a solicitor to ensure it does.
