Park open weekends

There's no better way to get a feel for a park than making a visit.

Open weekends offer a great chance for you to meet home owners, get a feel for the atmosphere on the park and gauge the relationship between the residents and the park owner or manager. You can ask loads of questions and have a good nose round.

Park owners have also realised that it's a good opportunity for them to get prospective buyers into their show homes so there should be at least one brand new home for you to look around.

If you've chosen the area you'd like to move to, contact the local parks and ask them to keep you informed of upcoming events.

Here's a few coming up that I know about.

Saturday 5 & Sunday 6 April
Birch's Group at Hyde Park, Ely and Bluebell Woods, Waterbeach
Ranksborough Hall at Oakham, Rutland

Friday 18 to Sunday 20 April
Barton Broads park in Barton-Upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire

Saturday 12 April
Tingdene Parks open day at East Beach Park, Shoeburyness
