Park homes for rent
Do you know of parks with homes to rent?
I've had a sudden increase in emails and letters from readers looking to rent a park home, but I'm afraid I'm drawing a blank trying to help them.
If you're a park owner with homes for rent, or if you live on a park where you know there are homes available to rent, please let me know.
Letters I've received have come from many sources, from professional single ladies, to ex-pats looking to return to the UK. Let's see if we can help them get a bit of the park home lifestyle.

hi as far as our park is concerned you may not sub let. as we are a residential park. A definite no no. The non residential parks stay open for ,i believe, 8/11 months of the year, so could give an idea, or a taste of park home living, or at least a breathing space , to find permanent accommodation. So I would try under holiday parks.

Hi there,
I am pleased to advise you that www.parkhomeliving.co.uk is currently showing 101 fully residential park home estates with homes for rent throughout the UK. Just go to our Parks Directory and click on 'Residential Homes for Rent' and hit the search button.
Pamela you are correct that a resident may not sub let, but a Park Owner may opt to do so if he/she wishes. Holiday Parks may not let out on long term residential rental, as those who rent on a holiday park must have a primary residence elsewhere in order to comply with Site Licence Conditions.

I too am looking to rent a twin unit for myself, husband and cat! We have rented a new mobile home in the past, but rentals seem to be few and far between now. We are escaping out of the property market but cannot afford to purchase again either in bricks and mortar or a park home, mainly due to large deposits being required and the lack of finance around. We thought rental would be a good idea. We liked living in the park home mainly due to the peace and quiet and no noisy children!
We have been searching for sometime now but have also drawn a blank.
If anyone does know of any parks out there with twin homes for rental the information would be much appreciated.

could anyone give me information regarding electrical safety certificates,
I own my own Park home on a licensed registered site the landlord has recently started to rent out some of the homes on the site,
I recently got a letter from my local council telling me that i now need to submit a copy of a electrical safety certificate every year.
I thought as i am a owner and not a landlord i did not require to have a electrical safety check done every year.
Its quite expensive to have done and i have never had to provide one before can anyone give me any information on this matter.

I am temporarily living with my daughter having recently gone through a divorce where I came out with very little finance. I am not in a position to buy myself a property, I do not want to live in a rented flat where there may be children in a block as I am retirement age. I have friends living in park homes (which they own) and the environment is very nice. I would therefore like to be able to rent one long term but there seem to be very few to rent. Maybe you can offer advice on any that may be available in the Ringwood area of Hampshire or Verwood, Ferndown, Wimborne areas of Dorset.

I am in a similar situation to some of the previous people who have commented. A divorce and spiraling costs have also left be without large disposable sums. I would like to live in relative peace and security in my retirement, but cannot afford the outlay of purchasing a Park Home outright. I live in the north of England and sites seem few & far between anyway. Perhaps site owners out there could think about us very respectable potential residents who through no fault of there own have been left without a large financial cushion to fall back upon. Please make it easier for us to make life easier for you!
