A recent Radio 4 show has highlighted the petition to stop rogue owners blocking park home sales

A Radio 4 programme, The You and Yours show, aired on Wednesday 20th January discussed a petition which was handed in to No 10 Downing Street on 19th January (which PH&HC were proud to be part of) asking for new laws to stop rogue site owners blocking sales.
We think it is fantastic that Radio 4 ran the show as with more publicity (hopefully) more people will become aware of the plight some residents face when it comes to trying to sell their home and changes can be bought into force to stamp out these rogue owners once and for all.
Unfortunately, Park Home Minister Ian Austin was unavailable to appear on the radio show, he did however release this statement:
‘Interference in the sales process is unacceptable and the government will be consulting later on this year on possible changes to the Mobile Homes Act 1983 to make sales more transparent.'
