Help Me Find A Park Home Near Braintree

We help a woman planning for retirement find her dream home in Braintree, Essex

Trina Adams is contemplating retirement and would like to find a park home in Braintree, Essex for £200,000.

I can afford…
'My home is worth a fair bit, but if I can find what I want for less than £200,000 I'll have money to invest for rainy days and holidays.'

Kingsmead Park
Kingsmead Park is the ideal location for the older couple seeking to combine the convenience of town with the value of park home living.

I just had to choose…

Gosfield Lake Park
'I've realised we could move upmarket in terms of location and still have the money left over for Ian to retire early. I was also impressed with the friendly banter between Peter and the residents. The Simmons family really do seem to care.'

Other parks we considered
Willowmere, Little Cornard, Sudbury
Lovely setting with lots of sports nearby. Only seven homes though, so probably too quiet after Braintree.

Elm Court Park, Blackmore
This park is convenient for Chelmsford but a little too far south from Braintree. It has much to commend it though.

Takeley Park, Stansted
Pleasant, leafy, surprisingly quiet park, but again a little too far west for seeing friends and family.
