Longest pleasure pier
The longest in the world, it stretches out into the Thames estuary, 1.3 miles long – and you can walk or catch a train to the pierhead.

Annual carnival
It includes an illuminated procession and has a history dating back more than 100 years.

The Golden Mile
Amusements, arcades and attractions galore are to be found along the Golden Mile, including the Kursaal bowling alley plus bar, and Peter Pan's Adventure Island theme park.

Its close proximity and first-class road and rail links mean that there is easy access to London, with all its amenities and attractions.

Access to London
