How do park prices compare with a two bedroom detached bungalow in the Winchester area?
At the time of our search, the least expensive bricks and mortar bungalow we in Winchester cost £165,000 in Main Road, Otterbourne; four miles south of the city centre.
Three miles from Winchester, at Flowerdown, they had two park homes available: a 1974 30ft x 20 Lissett Super Lodge at £99,000 and a new 37ft x 12 Pathfinder Special at £85,000.
At Southview, two miles from the city centre, there were a handful of previously-owned park homes for sale at prices ranging from £65,000 to £85,000 plus a plot suitable for a new 42ft x 11 model which would cost around £100,000.
